Ashley Little's Anatomy of a Girl Gang
won the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize at the BC Book Prizes ceremony on May 3. Anatomy of a Girl Gang
is a powerful novel about a group of five female gang members in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
In addition to the fiction prize, Ashley won the Sheila A. Egoff Children's Literature Prize for her young-adult novel The New Normal
(Orca Book Publishers). Her double win marks the first time in the BC Book Prizes' history that an author has won two awards for two different books in the same year. Congratulations, Ashley!
