Blue Is the Warmest Color now on DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD (Feb. 2014)

The controversial and acclaimed film adaptation of Julie Maroh's graphic novel Blue Is the Warmest Color is now available on DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD.

The DVD and Blu-ray are both released by the esteemed Criterion Collection, dedicated to important classic and contemporary films.

Abdellatif Kechiche's film, and its stars Adèle Exarchopoulos and Lea Seydoux, have won wide praise, including the Palme d'Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. The film also was named best foreign-language film by the New York and Los Angeles Film Critics Circle Awards, the latter group also naming Excharopoulos best actress (tied with Cate Blanchett for Blue Jasmine). (Due to a technicality, the film was not eligible for the 2014 Academy Award for foreign-language film.)
