Blue Is the Warmest Color: New York Times bestseller and Editors Choice (Dec 2013)

Julie Maroh's graphic novel Blue Is the Warmest Color has made the New York Times bestseller list. It has appeared on the graphic novels list for over 2 months, since late October.

Blue was also reviewed in the New York Times on December 15, which said: "Delicate linework conveys wordless longing in this graphic novel about a lesbian relationship." The book is also a New York Times Editor's Choice on December 22.

The film adaptation of Blue Is the Warmest Color, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in May, continues to win acclaim and generate controversy. It is nominated for a Golden Globe Award as best foreign film, and was named best foreign film by both the New York and Los Angeles Film Critics.
