Rae Spoon: My Prairie Home doc at Sundance (Jan 2014)


My Prairie Home, the National Film Board of Canada documentary about trans musician and writer Rae Spoon, has been selected for the Sundance Film Festival.

The documentary, directed by Chelsea McMullan, debuted at the Vancouver International Film Festival in September. Rae's most recent CD is also entitled My Prairie Home; their debut book, First Spring Grass Fire, was a Lambda Literary Award finalist in 2013. Gender Failure, a book collaboration with Ivan E. Coyote based on their joint stage show, will be published in April 2014.
