The controversial and acclaimed film adaptation of Julie Maroh's graphic novel Blue Is the Warmest Color
will make its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Abdellatif Kechiche's film made headline news in May when it won the coveted Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
The film will be released this fall in the US by IFC Films/Sundance Selects, in Canada by Mongrel Media, and in other territories around the world. Arsenal's English translation of Julie's graphic novel will be published in September.
