Eve Lazarus launches Blood, Sweat, and Fear at Vancouver Police Museum (June 2017)

Eve Lazarus launches Blood, Sweat, and Fear, her book on cases handled by Inspector John Vance, Vancouver's first forensic investigator, at the Vancouver Police Museum on June 8.

The launch will begin with short tours of the original City Analyst Laboratory (currently the second floor of the Vancouver Police Museum that is off limits to the public) where you will be able to see Vance’s old office and work space founded in 1932 and in use until 1996. Halfway through the evening, we will come together to hear the author Eve Lazarus speak about her book and have a question and answer period. Beer and wine will be available for purchase during the festivities and the museum exhibits will be open for roaming of the Morgue and Autopsy Suite. Tours of the City Analyst Lab will resume after Eve’s talk for those who missed them in the beginning.

Eve's previous book was Cold Case Vancouver, a BC Bestseller that was a finalist for the Bill Duthie Booksellers' Choice Award in 2016.
