Amber Dawn, Eve Lazarus: BC Book Prize finalists (Mar 2016)


Books by Amber Dawn and Eve Lazarus have been shortlisted for BC Book Prizes.

Amber Dawn's poetry book Where the words end and my body begins is a finalist for the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize. Amber Dawn's debut novel Sub Rosa won a Lambda Literary Award, and her memoir How Poetry Saved My Life won the City of Vancouver Book Award.

Eve Lazarus's non-fiction book Cold Case Vancouver is a finalist for the Bill Duthie Booksellers' Choice Award, voted on by BC booksellers. Cold Case Vancouver has appeared on the BC Bestseller List for much of the last five months. In 2015, Aaron Chapman won the Duthie Award for his book Live at the Commodore.
