Teresa Wong's graphic memoir Dear Scarlet: The Story of My Postpartum Depression has been shortlisted for the City of Calgary W.O. Mitchell Book Prize.

The City of Calgary established the W.O. Mitchell Book Prize in honour of the late Calgary writer W.O. Mitchell to celebrate literary achievements by Calgary authors. The Book Prize is organized in partnership with the Writers’ Guild of Alberta.

Teresa's book details her experience with postpartum depression following the birth of her daughter Scarlet; the book takes the form of a letter to her. Dear Scarlet was longlisted for CBC's Canada Reads competition in January 2020.

Congratulations, Teresa!
